Lisa Fishman wrote F L O W E R C A R T (Ahsahta, 2011) and Current (Parlor Press, 2011). Her earlier books are The Happiness Experiment; Dear, Read; and The Deep Heart’s Core Is a Suitcase. A chapbook on Albion Books, at the same time as scattering, came out in 2010; recent work appears or is forthcoming in Little Red Leaves (the ephemera issue), jubilat, and The Arcadia Project anthology. She lives in Orfordville, Wisconsin and teaches at Columbia College Chicago.

Amanda Nadelberg is the author of Isa the Truck Named Isadore, selected by Lisa Jarnot for the 2005 Slope Editions Book Prize, and Bright Brave Phenomena (Coffee House Press, 2012) as well as a chapbook, Building Castles in Spain, Getting Married (The Song Cave, 2009). ADA LIMÓN grew up in Glen Ellen and Sonoma, California. A graduate of New York University’s MFA Creative Writing Program, she has received fellowships from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and won the Chicago Literary Award for Poetry. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harvard Review, and Poetry Daily. She is the author of three books of poetry, Lucky Wreck (Autumn House Press, 2006), This Big Fake World (Pearl Editions, 2007), and Sharks in the Rivers (Milkweed Editions, 2010). She is currently at work on a novel, a book of essays, and a new collection of poems.

ADAM CLAY is the author of A Hotel Lobby at the Edge of the World (Milkweed Editions, 2012) and The Wash (Parlor Press, 2006). His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Boston Review, Ploughshares, Denver Quarterly, Iowa Review, New Orleans Review, and elsewhere. He co-edits TYPO Magazine and lives in Kentucky.

NATE SLAWSON is the author of Panic Attack, USA (YesYes, Fall 2011) and two chapbooks, The Tiny Jukebox (H_NGM_N Books) and A Mixtape Called Zooey Deschanel (Line4). DODIE BELLAMY is the author of Barf Manifesto (UDP, 2008), the novel, The Letters of Mina Harker (University of Wisconsin Press, 2004); a collection of fiction, memoirs, and essays, Pink Steam (Suspect Thoughts, 2004); an epistolary collaboration on AIDS with the late Sam D’Allesandro, Real (Talisman House, 1994); and a cross-genre collection of pedagogical essays and fictions, Academonia (Krupskaya, 2006). Her book Cunt-Ups (Tender Buttons, 2002), a radical feminist revision of the "cut-up" pioneered by William Burroughs and Brion Gysin, won the 2002 Firecracker Alternative Book Award for Poetry. She lives in San Francisco with her partner Kevin Killian and three cats, Ted, Sylvia, and Quincy. With Kevin, she has edited over 150 issues of the literary/art zine Mirage #4/Period(ical).

PETER GIZZI is the author of numerous books, including The Outernationale (2007) and most recently, Threshold Songs, just out last November. Song Cave published his chap book Pinnochio's Gnosis in 2010. In 2008, Peter and Kevin Killian produced, My Vocabulary Did This to Me: The Collected Poetry of Jack Spicer and, from 2007 to 2011, Gizzi was the Poetry Editor for The Nation. Last year, Peter was the Judith E Wilson Visiting Fellow in Poetry at Cambridge University. He works at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

ARIANA REINES is the author of The Cow (Alberta Prize, Fence: 2006), Coeur de Lion (Mal-O-Mar: 2007, Fence: 2011), and Mercury (Fence: 2011). Her play, TELEPHONE, was commissioned and produced by The Foundry Theatre in 2009, with two Obies. Her newest translation is TIQQUN's Preliminary Materials for a Theory of the Young-Girl (Semoitext(e): forthcoming 2012). She was Roberta C. Holloway Lecturer in Poetry at UC Berkeley in 2009, and is teaching workshops at The Poetry Project and Poets House in New York this spring.

LEWIS WARSH is the author of numerous books of poetry, fiction and autobiography, including A Place in the Sun (Spuyten Duyvil, 2010), inseparable: Poems 1995-2005 (Granary, 2008), Debtor's Prison, in collaboration with Julie Harrison (Granary, 2002), Touch of the Whip (Singing Horse, 2002), and The Origin of the World (Creative Arts, 2001). He is co-editor of The Angel Hair Anthology, editor and publisher of United Artists Books, and director of the MFA program in creative writing at Long Island University, Brooklyn.

A recipient of a Rona Jaffe Writer's Award, she has been a permanent member of the University of Montana poetry faculty since the fall of 2001.

Michelle Taransky is Reviews Editor for Jacket2 and the author of "Barn Burned, Then," (Omnidawn 2009), selected by Marjorie Welish for the 2008 Omnidawn Poetry Prize. Taransky lives in Philadelphia where she works at Kelly Writers House and teaches writing and poetry at University of Pennsylvania. A chapbook, "No, I Will Be In The Woods" was just published by Brave Men Press.

Aaron McCollough is the author of five books of poetry. His fourth, NO GRAVE CAN HOLD MY BODY DOWN was just released by Ahsahta Press in September, and his fifth, UNDERLIGHT is forthcoming next fall from Ugly Duckling Press. His other books include LITTLE EASE, DOUBLE VENUS, and WELKIN. McCollough is the Librarian for English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan's Hatcher Graduate Library. Garin Cycholl’s recent work includes The Bonegatherer, a book-length poem that rethinks the history of Chicago’s West Side through the Cook County Hospital Emergency Room. His work has appeared with Admit2, Rain Taxi, Exquisite Corpse, New American Writing, and Seven Corners. He is also the author of Blue Mound to 161 (winner of the 2003 Transcontinental Prize), Nightbirds, Levitations, Raeftown Georgics, and Hostile Witness (BlazeVox 2009.) Since 2002, he has been a member of the Jimmy Wynn fiction collaborative.

Nathan Hoks’ first book, Reveilles, won Salt Publishing’s Crashaw Prize. He is also the author of the chapbook Birds Mistaken for Wind and the translator of Arctic Poems, a chapbook of Vicente Huidobro’s poetry. He teaches at Columbia College Chicago. Timothy Donnelly is the author of The Cloud Corporation (Wave Books, 2010) and Twenty-seven Props for a Production of Eine Lebenszeit (Grove Press, 2003). Donnelly’s poems have been published in anthologies such as Joyful Noise: An Anthology of American Spiritual Poetry, as well as magazines and journals including Harper’s, jubilat, The Nation, The Paris Review, PEN America, Ploughshares, TriQuartely and various others. His work has also been translated in German and Italian. A graduate of Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Princeton Universities, he is a poetry editor for Boston Review and teaches in the Writing Program at Columbia University’s School of the Arts. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.

Ted Mathys is the author of The Spoils (2009) and Forge (2005), both from Coffee House Press. He is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts, and his poems have appeared in BOMB, Fence, Conjunctions, Jubilat, and elsewhere. Ashley Capps received an MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her first book of poems, Mistaking the Sea for Green Fields, was published in 2006. She has held fellowships from the Iowa Arts Council, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the NEA. She lives in Bloomington, IL.

Gabriel Gudding is the author of _Rhode Island Notebook_ (Dalkey, 2007) and _A Defense of Poetry_ (Pitt, 2002), and recently three or so chapbooks. Celebrate our 10th anniversary with Anthony McCann, Jessica Savitz, and Jason Bredle.

Anthony McCann is the author of I ♥ Your Fate (Wave Books, 2011), Moongarden (Wave Books, 2006) and Father of Noise (Fence Books, 2003). In addition to these three collections, he is one of the authors of Gentle Reader! (2007), a book of erasures of the English Romantics, along with Joshua Beckman and Matthew Rohrer. Currently he lives in Los Angeles, where he works with Machine Project and teaches in the School of Critical Studies at the California Institute of the Arts.

Jessica Savitz is a graduate of Kenyon College and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She was the inaugural winner of the Madeleine P. Plonsker Emerging Writer’s Residency Prize, and Lake Forest College Press/&NOW Books released her book Hunting is Painting last fall. Savitz lives in Chicago with her husband and their two wondrous daughters.

Jason Bredle is the author of three books and three chapbooks, most recently

NOAH ELI GORDON is the co-publisher of Letter Machine Editions and an Assistant Professor in the MFA program in Creative Writing at The University of Colorado–Boulder. MATTHEW ZAPRUDER is the author of three collections of poetry, American Linden (Tupelo Press, 2002), The Pajamaist (Copper Canyon Press, 2006), and Come On All You Ghosts (Copper Canyon Press, 2010). A collaborative book with painter Chris Uphues, For You in Full Bloom, was published by Pilot Books in 2009. He has been a Lannan Literary Fellow in Marfa, Texas, and a recipient of a May Sarton Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He works as an editor for Wave Books, is a member of the core faculty of UCR-Palm Desert's Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing, and was the Fall 2010 Holloway Lecturer in the Practice of Poetry at the University of California-Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco.

STEVE HEALY is the author of two books of poetry–10 Mississippi, available 1 Sept 2010, and Earthling, published in 2004–both on Coffee House Press. He has published poems in numerous magazines, including American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Fence, and Jubilat, and in anthologies, including Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century. Wednesday, March 16th: Eileen Myles and Ed Roberson

Eileen Myles's was born in Boston and moved to New York in 1974. Her Inferno (a poet's novel) is just out from OR books. For her collection of essays, The Importance of Being Iceland, she received a Warhol/Creative Capital grant. Sorry Tree is her most recent book of poems. In 2010 the Poetry Society of America awarded Eileen the Shelley Prize. She is a Prof. Emeritus of Writing at UC San Diego. She lives in New York.

ED ROBERSON is the author of eight books of poetry, including To See the Earth Before the End of the World (Wesleyan). He is the recipient of the Poetry Society of America’s Shelley Memorial Award and the Lila Wallace–Reader’s Digest Writers’ Award, and his prior books have won the Iowa Poetry Prize and the National Poetry Series. Having retired from Rutgers University, Roberson currently lives in Chicago where he has taught at Columbia College Chicago, Northwestern University, and the University of Chicago.

Wednesday February 23rd: Daniel Khalastchi, Dora Malech, and Srikanth Reddy

Born and raised in Iowa, Daniel Khalastchi is a first-generation Iraqi Jewish American. A recent fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, he is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Marquette University. His first collection of poetry, Manoleria (2011), was awarded the Tupelo Press/Crazyhorse First Book Prize, and his poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Kenyon Review, jubilat, MAKE, and Denver Quarterly. He lives in Milwaukee where he is also the co-editor of Rescue Press.

Dora Malech is the author of two books of poems, Say So (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2011) and Shore Ordered Ocean (Waywiser Press, 2009). Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, Best New Poets, Poetry London, Denver Quarterly, and American Letters & Commentary, among other publications. She the recipient of a Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship, a Writer's Fellowship at the Civitella Ranieri Center in Italy, and a Glenn Schaeffer Poetry Fellowship. She has taught writing at Saint Mary's College of California, Victoria University in New Zealand, Augustana College in Illinois, and the University of Iowa. She lives in Iowa City and is the Executive Director of the Iowa Youth Writing Project.

Srikanth Reddy is the author of two books of poetry, "Facts for Visitors" (2004) and "Voyager" (2011), both published by the University of California Press. A book-length collaboration with the poet Daniel Beachy-Quick is forthcoming from 1913 Press in 2012. Reddy is currently an assistant professor at the University of Chicago.

N S (Nathanaël) writes l'entre-genre in English and French. She is the author of a dozen books including ABSENCE WHERE AS (CLAUDE CAHUN AND THE UNOPENED BOOK) (Nighboat Books, 2009), AT ALBERTA (BookThug, 2008), THE SORROW AND THE FAST OF IT (Nightboat Books, 2007), TOUCH TO AFFLICTION (Coach House, 2006), PAPER CITY (Coach House, 2003), Je Nathanaël (l'Hexagone, 2003) and L'Injure (l'Hexagone, 2004), a finalist for the 2005 Prix Alain-Grandbois and Prix Trillium. JE NATHANAËL exists in English self-translation (BookThug, 2006). Other work exists in Basque and Slovene with book-length translations in Bulgarian (Paradox Publishing, 2007). In addition to translating herself, Stephens has translated works by Catherine Mavrikakis, Gail Scott, Bhanu Kapil, and Sina Queyras.

Peter O’Leary was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1968. Though he has lived for extended stays in Portland, Vienna, St. Louis, and Budapest, the bulk of his life has been lived alongside the Great Lakes and their waterways: the Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, the St. Clair River, and Lake Michigan. His books include Watchfulness, A Mystical Theology of the Limbic Fissure, Depth Theology, Wren/Omen, and Benedicite. Luminous Epinoia, his third full-length book, has just been published by the Cultural Society. He lives in Berwyn, Illinois and teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and for the Committee on Creative Writing at the University of Chicago. Vocations to poetry and religion have committed him to the pursuit of what St. Bonaventure named an itinerarium mentis in deum, or the journey of the mind to God, with particular attention devoted to the mystagogical-initiatic and the mytho-poetical.

Michael Earl Craig was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1970. He earned degrees from the University of Montana and the University of Massachusetts. He is the author of Can You Relax in My House (Fence Books, 2002) and Yes, Master (Fence Books, 2006). He is a Certified Journeyman Farrier and lives near Livingston, Montana, where he shoes horses for a living. His most recent book is Thin Kimono (Wave, 2010).

Lisa Olstein is the author of Lost Alphabet (Copper Canyon Press, 2009), named one of the nine best poetry books of 2009 by Library Journal, and Radio Crackling, Radio Gone (Copper Canyon Press, 2006), winner of the Hayden Carruth Award. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Nation, Fou, The Iowa Review, American Letters & Commentary, Denver Quarterly, Fairy Tale Review, and elsewhere. A contributing editor of jubilat, she is Associate Director of the University of Massachusetts Amherst MFAProgram for Poets and Writers and Co-director of the Juniper Initiative for Literary Arts & Action, which she founded with Dara Wier and NoyHolland in 2003.

Joel Felix has transplanted to Seattle from Chicago, where he was an editor of the journal LVNG. He is the author of many short collections of poetry, including Regional Noir, Monaural, and Catch and Release.

Julia Story is the author of Post Moxie (Sarabande Books), which won the 2009 Kathryn A. Morton Prize and the 2010 Ploughshares Zacharis Prize. Her recent work has appeared in The Paris Review, The Indiana Review, and Octopus Magazine. He received an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He lives in Iowa City and works for a human services agency.

About ADAM NOVY's debut book, The Avian Gospels, we are told: "A city without a name is cursed by a plague of birds they probably deserve. But when an angry beggar child and his father learn they have the power to lift the curse—they “control” birds—they cannot agree on how to use their gift, and end up using it on each other, taking out everyone around them, especially those they love." Adam Novy's work has appeared in The Believer, and he lives in California.

Roddy Lumsden has published five books of poetry, most recently Mischief Night - New & Selected Poems and Third Wish Wasted. A sixth collection Terrific Melancholy is due in 2011. Originally from Scotland, he lives in London where he is a Core Tutor for the Poetry School. He is Commissioning Editor for Salt Publishing. Identity Parade, his major anthology of recent UK / Irish poetry was published in 2010. Poetry magazine, which has regularly featured his work, awarded him the 2009 Bess Hokin Prize.

Patrick Culliton’s chapbook Hornet Homily is available from Octopus Books. Recent work has appeared, or will soon, in Another Chicago Magazine, Beeswax, Conduit, Eleven Eleven and elsewhere. He teaches at UIC and Loyola.

Devin King's first book CLOPS is out from the Green Lantern Press. He lives and works in Chicago.

Caroline Picard is a visual artist, the Founding Director of The Green Lantern Gallery & Press, and a Co-Editor for the literary podcast The Parlor (www. theparlorreads.com). Her writing has been published in a handful of publications including the Phildelphia Independant, NewCity, Lumpen, MAKE Magazine, the Chicago Art Journal Review and Proximity Magazine.

Release reading for Suzanne Buffam and John Beer

Suzanne Buffam’s first book, Past Imperfect, was published in 2005 by House of Anansi Press. The Irrationalist, her second book, was published in the U.S. by Canarium Books and in Canada by House of Anansi Press in April 2010. She’s the recipient of the Gerald Lampert Memorial Award and the CBC Literary Award for Poetry, and her poems have appeared in Boston Review, A Public Space, jubilat, Poetry, and many other journals. She lives in Chicago.

John Beer's first book, The Waste Land and Other Poems, was published by Canarium Books in April 2010. His work has appeared in Verse, The Brooklyn Rail, Denver Quarterly, Crowd, and elsewhere.

Jeff Clark was born in 1971 in southern California. He was a first- team all-league middle linebacker for the Mission Viejo Diablos, and their defensive high-point player for 1989. He went to UC Davis for football, attended three practices, and then after a few months practicing with Davis's baseball team, he developed an interest in poetry and became immersed in the Davis music community. He went to the Iowa Writers Workshop, in 1995 returned to the Bay Area, and in 1997 his first book, The Little Door Slides Back, was published by Sun & Moon. Its first printing sold out, was let go by Sun & Moon, and was reissued in 2004 by Farrar Straus Giroux, who published his second book, Music and Suicide, the same year. He has also written Ruins (Turtle Point Press, 2009) and 2A (Quemadura, 2006; with Geoffrey G. O'Brien). Since 1996 Clark has made his living as a book designer, first with Wilsted & Taylor in Oakland, CA, and now as Quemadura (www.quemadura.net). He lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Geoffrey G. O’Brien is the author of Green and Gray and The Guns and Flags Project, both from The University of California Press, and coauthor (in collaboration with the poet Jeff Clark) of 2A (Quemadura, 2006); his third collection, Metropole, is forthcoming from The University of California Press in 2011. A chapbook, Poem with No Good Lines, is recently out from Hand Held Editions and another, Hesiod, will be out in July from The Song Cave. He is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at UC Berkeley and also teaches at San Quentin State Prison.

Dara Wier's ten previous books include Remnants of Hannah (Wave Books, 2006) and Reverse Rapture (Verse Press, 2005), which was awarded the Poetry Center Book Award. Her work has received awards and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and The American Poetry Review. She lives and works in Amherst where she directs the University of Massachusetts MFA Program for Poets and Writers.
