November 14: Sandra Simonds, Besty Wheeler, and Hannah Gamble

Sandra Simonds is the author of Warsaw Bikini (Bloof Books, 2008) and Mother Was a Tragic Girl (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2012).  Her poems have been published in many journals such as Poetry, The American Poetry ReviewThe Believer, the Colorado Review, Fence, the Columbia Poetry Review, Barrow Street, Volt, the New Orleans Review and Lana Turner. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida and is an assistant professor of English and Humanities at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia.

Betsy Wheeler is the author of the poetry collection Loud Dreaming in a Quiet Room and Start Here, a poetry chapbook. Her poems have appearedin notnostrums, Bat City Review, Forklift Ohio, The Journal, and elsewhere. From 2005-2007, she served as the Stadler Fellow at Bucknell University. She is editor of the limited-edition poetry chapbook publisher Pilot Books, and Managing Director of the Juniper Summer Writing Institute. Visit her website or read a poem.

Hannah Gamble is the Author of Your Invitation to a Modest Breakfast (FENCE Books, 2012), which was selected by Bernadette Mayer for the 2011 National Poetry Series. Her poems and interviews appear in APR, jubilat, Indiana Review, and Forklift, Ohio.

  1. I haven't got the chance to read any of her poems. Maybe I'll just try reading it sometime. Anyways, was forklift ohio is the same as forklift perth?
