September 12: Cathy Park Hong, Richard Meier, and Jared Stanley

Cathy Park Hong's first book, Translating Mo'um was published in 2002 by Hanging Loose Press. Her second collection, Dance Dance Revolution, was chosen for the Barnard Women Poets Prize and was published in 2007 by WW Norton. Her third book of poems, EngineEmpire, was published in May 2012 by WW Norton. She is a professor at Sarah Lawrence College.

Richard Meier is the author of 3 books of poetry, including In the Pure Block of the Whole Imaginary, published September 2012 by Omnidawn. He lives in Madison and Kenosha, where he is writer-in-residence at Carthage College.

Jared Stanley is the author of The Weeds and Book Made of Forest. He’s a member of the art collective Unmanned Minerals, and a co-editor of Mrs. Maybe. He lives in Reno, Nevada, where he is a Research Fellow at the Center for Art + Environment, and teaches at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nevada.
